Students for Justice in Palestine launches the “Be on our side” campaign at Arizona State University.

In early April 2011, Students for Justice in Palestine launched a media campaign to raise awareness among students, faculty, and community members at Arizona State University about the United States’ funding of the Israeli occupation. LCD displays at the Memorial Union showed the advertisements through the end of April, and SJP hopes to continue the advertisements later in the year.

In addition to the LCD advertising, Students for Justice in Palestine will bring experts to speak about Arizona State University’s financial links to the Israel-Palestine conflict. We will continue training students to lobby congressional representatives about ending military aid to Israel. We will also hand out “Be on our Side” pocket cards and work to expand the media campaign to campus newspaper advertisements. We encourage other chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine to bring the campaign to their campuses.
